đ The new era starts in the Metarace and Wavesducks story. Version 1.0 is released, and the first Genesis Tournament is starting now!

The Genesis Tournament will start March 3 at 11 am UTC and last till March 11 at 5 pm UTC, and the top 20 players will receive $40k worth of $RACE.
Initially, we planned to let only players with ducks or ducklings with a 50% growth level, but since we got lots of feedback, we decided to run the Genesis tournament with two leagues â for players with Ducks and all others!

đĨ You can participate in the first Metarace Tournament even without a duck or duckling!

The League for players with ducks is called Mars, while the League for players without a duck is Earth. The truck stats (such as speed, control, and weight) in the Mars league directly depend on the rarity of the duck, its genes, and achievements, so choose ducks wisely!
You can find a $RACE prize pool (in USD equivalent at the payment day) for players in both leagues in the table below:
The prize pool for the TOP 10 players
1. Buy the booster
All players who want to take part in the tournament have to buy a booster called BOOST for 100 $RACE in the Boosters section. This booster is the ticket for the tournament and can be used in the game as well (grab a box in the game, and you get an additional acceleration).
Boosters are NFTs and will be tradable in the future.

2. Lock your duck [optional]
To play with your duck from Wavesducks, you have to buy a Racer Suit for 1 $EGG at wavesducks.com (in the Items section) and send your duck to the Metarace. To play in the Mars league, you have to keep the duck locked in the Metarace (it should wear the Racer Suit till the end of the tournament)

đšī¸ Please note: ducks locked for Metarace can be unlocked only after 48 hours.

Many preparations were done in the last two months for the version 1.0 release: updated models (including colors for trucks!), changed physics of trucks, clusters in different locations were deployed for better performance, and of course, tournament logic was implemented.
